“...the waters under the heaven ... gathered together unto one place, and ... the dry land appear[ed] ... dry land Earth; and ... waters ... Seas”

Geology, Earth Science

Mountains, Seas, Land, Caves (58) (59)

The mountains were not around yet, the third 24-hour period, but the seas were formed by sinking the earth under the land in certain areas with caves (Psalm 33:7) and the like (Psalm 104:3) which allowed for some of the land to be made higher and dry out. For years men believed that continents and islands were floating masses in their ignorance, but the Scripture revealed the truth (2 Peter 3:5, Job 26:10).
