Knowing how old Noah was when the world-wide flood occurred, we are able to look at the geneology of the Bible and actually date this catastrophy. It figures to approximately 1650 and 2000 years after the time of the creation. According to the Hebrew computation, it was the one thousand six hundred and fifty-seventh year from the creation; but according to the reckoning of the Septuagint it was the two thousand two hundred and forty-second.
