How you can help with the OWB Project
Primarily, you must have a password to contribute (add) information to the OWB project. A valiant attempt will be made to gather persons who are earnestly interested in the advancement and not the destruction of the project and those who are capable of contributing helpful and informative information in line with the same. If you plan to contribute, please fill in and submit the following password request form to receive your password through email.

Highlighted fields (labels marked with an asterisk) are required. All others are optional.
How to Add Information into the Database
Note: this section refers to the old site and is out-of-date. Please see the Editing help for instructions and tips on editing in the wiki formatting environment.
- From the Home Page, click on "Add New Entry" on the bar at the top of the page. You will then see the "Adding New Entry" dialect box, wherein you are to add your information.
- Enter your new-found password, that you received in an email from us, in the password area of the form by first clicking once in that area and then typing your password.
- Select the subject you are addressing from the pop-down list provided. If you feel there needs to be an additional subject, not included in the subject list, please email us and describe what you have found in this regard.
- Click in the verse box once and enter the verse reference that relates to the subject (see present entries for proper format).
- Click in the facts box once and write out the verse or at least the portion of the verse that applies to the information you have. Then enter information about the verse that tells the issue or idea that the verse you selected addresses about the subject you selected. You have a lot of room to write (up to 65000 characters). Try to be as informative and full of discovery as you can. Be factual and interesting - remember we are educating through this medium.
Some Rules to Watch Out for While Entering Information in the OWB Database
- Although you should have no difficulty submitting and editing entries with almost any modern web browser, we recommend that you use Mozilla Firefox. One benefit is a built-in spell checker which underlines misspelled or questionable words in red as you type. This feature allows you to right-click on the questionable word and select an alternative if need be.
- Try to use double-quote marks ("), rather than two single-quote marks ('') in your text.
- Use proper wiki markup.
- Be sure to spell all words correctly, in order to reduce the need for constant and additional editing by the OWB Staff. We may be able to add a spell check function at a future date.
- If you want to make changes to your entry after you enter it into the OWB database, please email changes to us using explanatory instructions, such as: "In the second paragraph, change the word 'the' to 'this'." And be sure to identify the subject and verse that you want modified. Please only ask us to edit entries that you have made.
Note: The simpler the entries the greater the chance they will be a success in the database. So avoid bulleted lists, tables, etc.
