Always having a heart to serve others in Christ, the Apriles founded The Utmost Way Magazine, back in July 1998, to begin such an endeavor. As time went by, many people wrote to us asking to have their ministry published in or linked to the pages of our magazine. Seeing a bigger need for support of such ministries, the Apriles were led to provide a special area where these ministries could get the treatment they need and deserve. This became the ministry called Utmost Ministries.

Contents

Michael

Michael is the editor of The Utmost Way Magazine and father of the six Aprile children. He is an author of two books and has been published in Christian homeschool magazines. He has a passion for helping other ministries.

Kathy

Kathy is Michael's wife and a mother to the six Aprile children. She has recently loved writing a column for Mothers. This column gathers sage advice from older, more seasoned Christian women to be read by younger Christian women as per the scriptural admonition.

Amy

Amy has a ministry called Handmaid of the Lord dedicated to sewing modest clothing at cost for mothers and daughters to encourage modest dress between them. Amy sews beautiful clothing at cost and asks that if the people feel led that they donate to her ministry accordingly.

Aaron

Aaron is good at almost everything he does. He is an accomplished church pianist and organist. He is also the technical genius behind the family website design and development enterprise called Utmost Designs. This is a father and son effort and does pretty well.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth has a great talent in drawing and has published a 40-page coloring book based on the first two books of the Elsie Dinsmore book series by Martha Finley.

Benjamin

Benjamin has a real zest for life and a new-found love for fishing. We hope that he will allow the Holy Spirit to make him "a fisher of men."

Megan

Megan has the gift of prophecy and will promptly let you know if you need to know something.

Matthew

Matthew is a very sweet boy who is soaking up what he sees from all his brothers and sisters.

Excerpted from the home page

Utmost Ministries represents an entire server dedicated, most appropriately, to serving missionaries, churches, ministries, and magazines that have dedicated themselves to "carrying their cross" by following Jesus Christ. We have this effort in common, not ecumenically, but rather by serving the same Lord. Please visit these ministries to learn about them, what they are doing for Christ, and how perhaps you can be a part of them or at least help them in their noble cause.

One other thing that should be mentioned here is that these ministries give a whole lot of time, effort, and, yes, money (material things) to those people both in need of these things and in need of Christ. You could be a part of their effort in doing these things by sending them contributions, either large or small or in-between, ever so often. There is no better way, in God's eyes, that you could spend such money (Matthew 25:40). This is not called tithing, and though it could be referred to as offerings, it would be best looked at as gleaning, as spoken of in Scripture. This is a commandment of God and it is honored by Him greatly. It costs these ministries to operate in the fields for the Lord and it costs Utmost Ministries to help them (both in time and money). The word of God (Deuteronomy 24:21) says,"When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow." We are not to keep the first tenth of the fruit of our labor and likewise we are not to keep for ourselves the last portion, but to leave it for those who labor hard for the Lord and, therefore, have no field of their own.
